I had a go a month or so ago at a place near Swindon and I was absolutely awful! never again

I thought being a lanky sod I would be great and knee down would be easy peasy, but I was just so bad and spent more time sliding down the track on my head or my arse than on the sodding bike whereas the mate I went with took to it like a duck to water.

You have to give it a go though, coz you will either love or hate it.

Supermotards though, now them I do like

minimotos are more fun than a truck load of monkeys.

Wear old leathers and lid as you should fall off, have done a bit of it nearly brought my own bike but got realy beaten up doin it one friday night but came second on a hired bike, saved by my back protector when i came off on a corner and got hit in the side by a fat bloke on a minimoto.
do not wear proper bike boots trainers are best, as you need to turn your ankles sidewauys which gets easier the more you do it.
contact minimoto assosiation for go cart tracks near you that do it. Im in southampton and did it in andover trice and swindon a few times.

Anyone on here own one?

I'm thinking of maybe getting one but there is nowhere near me track-wise to use it.
Would I get knee-deep in shit for using it in an industrial estate at midnight or would it be alright?

Hi S200Z, I just finished being a student a few weeks ago so I can't afford a new one (especially after just buying a real bike) - was thinking about a bashed up 2nd hand one for under £500

Two of my friends are seriously thinking about it, one of which may buy new. Are the ones you get Blata (3.4 bhp)?

How much would they be including UK shipping?

OK the retail new with support and parts backup is £725
I will make some calls tomorrow and could get this reduced somewhat.

they ARE blata 3.4HP (39cc)
yam R1
duke 996
ninja
honda repsol (rossi) rep
MV Augusta
and a few others.

but just to tease you, they also have PRO minis....

water cooled mini moto racers..
WITH 39HP !!!! but the RRP is £1600...

Just thought I'd ask as my local Go-Ped dealer is also the local MiniMoto dealer so didn't know if they came from the same distributers somewhere down the supply chain
I need a new crackshaft for my BigFoot, but tempted to just go for a new 'performance' spec engine
