Mine keep slipping! Did I hear correctly many years ago, that you can take the grip off, clean it with soapy water and then re-install with a little hairspray????

Let me know your experiences.

My clutch side keeps slipping round too - so I would be interested to know how to rectify as well.

maybe it is cos I had heated grips fitted
(somebody told me it would make my blade faster) but now everyone just laughs at me -

Is putting heated grips on a blade girly/stupid/weird?
Answers on a postcard please :-/

should be able to clean then up. if there meant to stick, hairspray is a quick fix, but wont last.

depends on the bike I guess. mine are meant to slip around.

My left-hand heated grip was too loose so I used electricians tape to increase the diameter of the bar and then superglue gel to stick the grip back on (make sure you get it in the right place pretty quickly, it goes off quite fast but then leave about 12 hours to properly set)
