Anyone who lives by one will no doubt have been in by now, but I went earlier & got some really cheap stuff. Lots of Alpinestars, dainese, arai, shoei & loads more.

Badapple - what's the deal with Riossi? Are ALL stores closing, or just some? Do you know when they will close?

I haven't made it down to my local Riossi yet, but plan to do so this week - so I expect that whilst there will be lots of price reductions, I will be left with the odd sizes and nasty colours!!! But hey, that's how I got my last set of leathers (and there's nothing wrong with pink and torquiose )

dixon motor group (owners) have decided to shut them all except about 5 stores I believe.

more like they werent making any money, and even a name change from carnells wouldnt shake off there bad reputation.

NB this is unless a buyer comes forward. Some stores are beleived to be manager buy outs.

The salesman said they were all closing, they shut on the last day of the month.

Mechsympathy, they are selling new bikes with no vat. R1 £7495, r6 £6000, GSXR600 £5695 etc. They also are selling there used bikes with about 25% off.

Hmmm, might nip down the road for some window shopping. Getting clammy palms thinking about it.

I spoke to a guy in Riossi who said that the warranties are with the manufacturers and not the retail outlets so they can be serviced anywhere. Was he talking crap?

I tried taking a carnell bike to a authorized dealer. wouldnt touch me "sorry sir Im booked up for 6 months, I do my regulars first, then other dealers bikes."
this was as soon as he saw the carnell badge on the number plate.
