Clutch/Gearbox problem??
Discussion
Just got home from riding & all afternoon i've had some problems with the clutch/gearbox. I constantly couldn't get the bike to go up & down gears, especially at higher revs. The 'biting point' also kept changing. At one point it was normal & I had to release the bar to it's usual point, but other times it would pull the second I let go about 1/2cm. Right at the end of the ride the bike was trying to move even with the clutch TOTALLY in. Resulting in me nearly nudging a slk. Anyone have any ideas?
I just went out to have another look & I basically have no tension in the clutch, it's light as a feather.

What bike is it, more particularly is it a cable operated or hydraulic clutch - sounds like stretched/knackered cable or leaky master cyl, could be clutch or springs knackered though.
I have had these symptoms on both cable and hydraulic clutches and unless it is the cable it's probably expensive.

I assume it has a cable operated clutch, If so has the cable stretched/broke or otherwise come loose ie is there any free play before it takes up, if not then it sounds like the clutch is knacked, not sure how expensive that would be but would have thought at least a couple of hundred £ - unless you 'DIY'(don't know how complicated it is on 7r) and I don't think you'll be riding it tomorrow!
