A gimmick perhaps but a nice one. How much, if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers,

Steve

How's it going - well the AA are on their way to see me tomorrow. On of the bolts that attaches the rear caliper to the brace below the swing arm seems to have gone missing following the refurbishment of the caliper during service. Thinking back I felt the brakes binding on Friday

To add insult to injury I found the armour in my jacket had split and I got positively the worst customer service of my entire life when I took it back to the shop to resolve the situation. I'll mail you through profile with the details, but suffice to say this was not what I was expecting on a jacket guaranteed for 5 years costing over £500!

I have a fairly pointed letter to write to the MD of the firm in question. Frankly it's just not on. Pass the mail I send you on to anyone you know who rides bikes, so it hits this firm where it hurts - on the balance sheet. I had to buy a Knox Back Protector from the bds just so I could ride home in safety, but it does feel a lot more solid than the previous item if a little warm.

Apart from that I'm actually really enjoying the riding. I'm convinced that I still ride like a bit of a newbie, but having witnessed an accident on my way home a week ago and a bad near miss on Friday evening, a bit of caution seems like a good plan.

Cheers,
Steve.

Looks like I can't get flash dials like that until I ride a faster machine, so it could be a while.

Thanks anyway,

Steve

oops shouldnt have asked ! sorry to hear your having probs steve and hope you get them all sorted , im currantly thinking of where to send the kwack for its 24,000 miles service , dont want to use the dealer that i got it from as i just have a feeling they will just say yeh weve done your valve shim and they are fine and they wont do sod all to it , i know of one other back street garage but he forgot to do some bolts up on my mates fzr , do i let him loose on my engine got to get a new front tyre for pistonfest as the fronts gone v shaped due to it being a dual compound so the sides have worn faster than the centre and the bike feels a bit uneasy in corners .

Wikkid, Bling, Bling.

Wearing the outer tyre out before the centre is to be appauded, even if it is a dual compound, it still demonstrates you're riding properly.
