.....nice and friendly

Went out on the 125 SuperMoto yesterday just to try and get a bit more confidance riding the thing before diving in to the commute tomorrow and just about every sports bike rider that came the other way gave me a friendly nod
If only all car drivers were this friendly the roads would be a much safer, nicer place to be

But I wasn't out in the countryside either, I was riding around the streets of Nottingham

I went to silverstone BSB yesterday, over 10,000 bikes, My neck aches from nodding!!!

I am also new to biking, have got a Fazer600 and live in the South East, always get a nod from other riders and I even nod to those on scooters-I used to have one!!

It's something you don't notice until you become a biker. Now, even when I'm in the car I nod at passing bikers and think "ignorant bugger" when they don't acknowledge... then I remember and apologise!

Yep even caught meself doing that a couple of times, and recieved strange looks from GF.

Yeah.. coming the other way they nod, but when you beat a sportsbike with a cruiser - you find they don't want to talk at the next set of lights when they finally catch up. Funny that. I'd always compliment a fast rider on their skill if they were keeping in front of me on a slow bike.
