Hi, Im opening an online (ish) bike supply shop soon, stocking basic stuff, order by phone/email.

So in the name of market research - I was just wondering if I could get some ideas as to what people want to buy?

Im avoiding size related, as stocking is difficult at the mo. eg tyres, helmets or clothing

Im going for
security locks and chains
spark plugs
intercoms
OEM indicators and clutch/brake levers and fancy ones
earplugs
brake hoses/pads
chains and sprockets
cleaning products

and before you ask, I will be offering substantial PH discounts!

any more?

Then you need a pair of pre-scuffed sliders for that "I'm shit hot but not really trying at the moment" look.
How about it s2ooz? Buy then off of racers as scap and sell them on at a premium over standard sliders to the bike equivalant of BoBs.

Are you able to supply service bits yet (I haven't got around to doing my service yet). Specifically I'm after the following for a 2000 fuel-injected blade...

4 spark plugs
air filter (this is proving surprisingly difficult to find)
oil filter

Cheers,

Mark

Just to answer my own question... I ordered oil, an oil filter and iridium plugs from Stuart and apart from royal mail losing the stuff for a week I'd just like to recommend Stuart aka...

BikeSport|UK
sales@bikesport-uk.com

...for your bike supplies. Top quality stuff at good prices.

Cheers,

Mark

PS. Fitting spark plugs on a y2k fireblade is a ing nightmare of a job and why do they route the 4 into 1 bit of the exhaust directly below the oil filter so that not only is it a git to get off because of space and the downpipes are hot from warming the oil up but the oil flows all over the downpipes when you take the filter off? Arghhh!

Curious. Don't write Royal Mail off too soon. I use it for my stuff and rarely have any problems. I guess heavier items get treated differently?

I think it was down to a double bank holiday, I may have to re-consider for heavy items tho.

Hmm, how much for a Nolan antifog visor insert? Mine's getting a bit scratched and with summer coming I could probably do with a tinted one.

Sorry, these are just standard replacement visors, not antifogs or tinted.
