MV Agusta F4 Insurance?

Just about to take the plunge & purchase one of these rare beasts, but I have had nothing but misery trying to get insurance. Not one company has even been able to get me a quote! I have had quotes for r1's, Sp1's Busa's but nothing for the MV. Anyone got one & have an insurer? Anyone know good insurers for parallel imports? Any advice VERY much appreciated.

I've used MotorCycle Direct (0870 1600400) since I bought mine 3 years ago. Has increased over that time but that appears to be the same for everyone. It was about £800 last year - 36, West London, TT99 6 month ban three years ago.
