Been there, seen it done - but managed not to do it myself.
Can't recommend a breakers or anything, but get yourself a piece of scummy orange tape, the sort that gets wrapped around roadworks from one bollard to the next, then tie it to your disclok. Next time you put it on the bike stretch the tape from the disc to the throttle and wrap it around. It looks tacky, and is bright enough to see in dim light conditions!! But that's the idea - in about 7 years of using a lock I never forgot it was there!

been there done that... touring in Stockholm...hmmm forgotten something ...KERLUNK! Oh sh*t just posted friends keys back through letter box and on way back to Copenhagen. SOLUTION bungee it on top of CBR's front wheel - 135 with only one brake, in the wet, loaded to the gills - suits you sir!
