My Motobatt Battery Has Died

Despite maintaining my battery through the use of my CTEK charger and keeping it in good environmental conditions, my motobatt has finally died. It still cranks the bike, but it has started to crank weakly recently.

I only bought it recently... In June 2012!

I'll be buying another motobatt to replace it.

I guess this thread is just really to give my own anecdotal experience of owning a motobatt for 14 years.

Thats seriously good going it must have been well looked after

Longest ive had a battery last is an OE Yuasa that lasted just over 8 years.

Last 2 I got were the ones you put the acid in yourself. Very traumatic with a boiling hot battery as it sorted itself out,which I dont remember from the first one. Didnt last very long either.
I would go for something sealed in future.
