I have bike insurance covering me abroad but I need to renew my travel insurance. Currently with Coverwise but the reviews for if you need to make a claim are shocking, so looking to change this time.

I know a lot of policies only have medical cover if riding bikes up to 125cc. Any suggestions?

I use Coverwise. The have no cc limit and cover motorcycle road riding. I've never claimed so can't comment on that part of the policy.

When I took the Coverwise policy out last year I didn t notice the poor reviews. Backed by AXA so thought they'd be ok, but apparently not.

The reviews don't seem to bad to me!

Navigator Travel Insurance is who I'm with. Covers riding your own big bike both in UK and abroad. If required, they can do foreign trackdays as well.

Indeed. Looks great. But over 90,000 reviews? Seems a lot. When you read up they mostly seem to be about the process of buying the cover. One negative review made me laugh as a lady had her claim rejected because she didn’t declare she had sinusitis and thrush 18 months earlier!

The Google reviews are less kind.

A sample size of 78 is not really comprehensive.

I'm sure claiming will be a challenge with any/all insurers, and I can't say Axa/Coverwise will be any better or worse than anyone else. It's all a gamble but at least the policy is clear that there are no restrictions on bikes bigger than 125cc.
