Suggest me some good German roads and areas to stay!
Discussion
Instead of the usual Alps / Dolomites bike trip, this year we have taken the decision to basically "wing it" around Germany.
We travel end of July and have 7 full days in Germany to ride. The only constraints on our trip is that we have already pre booked the 1st nights accommodation in Schmallenburg (approx. 35 mile east of Dortmund), and the other is that we need to be close enough for 1 days ride to get back to the ferry (Ijmuiden) on the 7th day, so will probably be wanting to be back in Northern Germany for the last night.
As we will be "moving" every day with luggage on sports bikes, mileage limit will probably be no more than 350 miles per day. We don't normally do the "touristy" thing so we aren't bothered about sightseeing etc. we only go for the roads so want some of the best roads Germany has to offer.
Please fire away any suggestions and routes

The black forest is stunning, the b500 is a common road for bikers, we rode it last year on our way to Austria.
Can also recommend anywhere around lake obersee/konstance, we stopped for lunch there and it was just beautifull with the Swiss mountains behind it.
I found Germany really nice to ride in and around, the few motorway sections we did were fairly painless and their equivalent to a and b roads were all in brilliant condition with sensible speed limits, unlike Switzerland!...
