Has anyone done a thread about these yet?

Looks like a fantastic all rounder?!

I think they've nailed the looks somehow. Thought the 660 was good looking but this improves further on that.

Also, nice numbers from the engine.

Not sure if i'm allowed to post links but here are some pics and specs.

Max Power EC 115 PS / 113 bhp (84.6 kW) @ 10,750 rpm
Max Torque EC 83 Nm @ 8,500 rpm

Seat Height 835 mm
Tank Capacity 18.6 L
Wet Weight 214 kg

I agree, it's a great looking bike.

As usual with Triumph the quality, fit and finish look right up there. They do make good looking engineering. But, I find the overall styling rather "safe" and a little boring. In fact I don't think it looks very modern, rather like something from a decade or so ago. If you look at where other European manufacturers are going with styling, this looks pretty tame.

I get what you mean. Somehow, it reminds me of a TDM in it's stance....(which IMO is no bad thing!)

I have one on order, should be March 2025 delivery.

Needless to say, I like the curvy Triumph styling, unlike most origami shaped modern bikes which look hideous.

Do the dealers have demo models of these yet? I swear I saw one today - a neighbour's friend came the opposite way, he usually rides a Scrambler 1200, but today he was on something that looked just like this.

It looked good, a bit Ducati with the headlight, but not in a bad way.

I like it, certainly in the metal at NEC it's a good looking if safely styled bike, a lot to be said for that, looking at you KTM and Suzuki!
Still struggle to buy anything other than a Hornet 1000 next year though, hopefully it's not just selling on price and is a fun and quick bike for not much.

No, demos not available until next year. He was probably on a Tiger Sport 660 which looks very similar.

Looks the same. If they make the same updates to the Tiger Sport 660 as they have to the Trident 660 I'd be interested in one. £13K is more than I want to spend on a bike.

Bearing in mind, most motorcyclists are middle-aged and it's an adventure bike, safe styling is exactly where I'd target it too

Most bikes are either retro styled or hideous spaceship / insect looking things, that look like they were designed by an 18 year old

I like it

It looks very much like a slightly more compact and modernised version of the older Tiger Sport 1050. No bad thing IMO, but then I have a 2013 one in the garage and have put 75k miles on it. It's been a great bike.

I'm not a fan of the current vogue for angular lumps poking out everywhere. A more smoothed off appearance is much more my thing. I like it. Now they just need to put the 1200 lump in it. smile

It seems to be a larger capacity 660 Tiger Sport:

Neeves said the headlamps were good.

The 2025 Trident 660 has cruise control and an IMU. If an updated Tiger Sport gets them too I'd be tempted. So the naked Trident 660 has cruise control but the adventure/tourer looking Tiger Sport 660 doesn't?

I don't take a pillion and I am not sure I need the extra go and licence risking potential of the 800. The 660 torque curve looks spot on for me and the riding I do. The fuel consumption of the 660 would be more useful to me than the extra go an 800 badged version offers.

The Zack Courts Dailyrider review said the Tiger Sport 660 was like a smaller capacity Yamaha Tracer 9, possibly in response to a question from a subscriber about whether the Tiger Sport 660 should've had the 765 engine.

An 800 badged version of the 660 would provide a natural competitor to the Tracer 9?

It's already been announced that the Tiger Sport 660 is getting the same upgrades as the Trident.

To me that's a positive thing!

We had a good look round them at the bike show as my brother reckons it might be his next purchase. All of us were really impressed with it, the build felt good (for a show bike that's been mauled!) and the styling looked the right side of classy.

I liked the manually adjustable screen smile

Yes, the 2025 Tiger Sport 660 now has cruise control and the quickshifter becomes standard equipment. I specced one up and it comes in about £2k cheaper than the 800. Decisions, decisions….

It's very tempting. Been after a bike to commute on to go alongside my 765RS. This could be ideal.

Thank you. I went to a Triumph dealer a few weeks ago and they couldn't tell me. smile
