Tubes or tubeless ?
Discussion

Just got a puncture and discovered my bike has innertubes even though the rims say tubeless.
That would be why my plug repair didnt get me home then.
Ordered a pair of anlas capybara x tyres.
Am i better tubed or tubeless?
I ride offroad every week, but i dont bother reducing pressures, i run 27 front 30 rear.
Are spoked tubeless wheels too much hassle for leaks?
Got a 430 mile trip tomorrow, hope the patched tube holds.

Tubeless (if it works) is obviously better for the reason you're aware of - that you can plug the tyre
Frequently they leak and people fit tubes (as you've just discovered)
How much time and money it takes to fix them as opposed to the hassle saved with punctures - only you can answer

I use Mrs DSs Tenere off-road and they’re tubed. My take on it is to limp the bike to a road and call recovery - this is the UK not the Australian outback.
I’d be interested to know what you think of the Capra X - I really rate them. Took them on the Stella Alpina in Italy as well as some days out in the uk dales/ peaks and they’re awesome. Amazing road trip wet and dry, good off-road unless wet mud/grass.

It's generally just leaking rim tape
Can be very minor, personally I'd try it and see then maybe change it, but I've had quite a few punctures off-road so I would far rather have tubeless if possible
I don't carry puncture repair kit on road because I've never had one but off-road it's very regular (one a month - generally old nails) and why ruin a day out ?
