It's that time of the week again, who's doing bikey things?

I'm hoping to get out on the BSA this afternoon if the slipping clutch can be resolved in time. My brother's just got his 1927 Model 18 Norton going again with a new (recon) magneto, so the plan is we'll take those two out so I can have a go on that too. Not ridden that one before. Might try and call in and watch the planes at Lakenheath if the timings work out, which is always impressive!

If I have time I want to try and get the back wheel out of my Norton so I can start working out what I need to get the BSA conical hub to fit which is step one of its transformation.

Other than that, MotoGP in between a few beers and some nice food smile

We were due to have some bikes friends visit us, but they can’t make it, so my excuse for a ride out evaporated with that!

Still working on the 4 wheeled project at the moment, which is taking most of my time, but I’ll either finish it in glorious style or get so sick of it, I pull on a lid and go for a potter I suspect!
That said, two of the bikes are in storage elsewhere due to the back yard being full of project, so my options are limited….

Picked up my new bike yesterday so I’ll have a tear out on that after work today for sure and possibly on Sunday too.

Can definetly see a ride out on Sunday. Debating where to go. Moffat and the borders or Perth and Cairngorms?

I have sold a bike and am delivering it to North Yorkshire

As I like to make the most of things I'll deliver it early, throw another bike in the van and have a day riding around the moors biggrin

Sunday - final prep of my Track bike for what looks like another wet Trackday on Monday frown

I'm going to try. Need to clean the bike, clean/adjust the chain, and Hammerite some small spots of rust, but I'm so crippled by depression that I just haven't been able to face it for the last couple of months. Maybe tomorrow is the day.

Hope so, I had a great ride out last Sunday - bacon roll at Rykas and then a really cool scenic route back home through Sussex/Kent. Either be a longer ride out on the GS or a shorter blast on one of the noisy brothers smile Also, MotoGP is currently on in the background and I'll be watching and hoping MM93 delivers again in Mizano

I've got plans for a mooch somewhere on Sunday but the weather guessers aren't giving me much to go off at the minute. Some say sun, others say torrential ran so I'll have to play it by ear. Last ride before the MOT as well.

De-rusted the T6 yokes and painted them today. They will be invisible under the nacelle so this was protection only.

Over the weekend I'll stick the frame on the stand and start a dry assembly I think, see what is missing...

Decided to give the IAM "T run" a go on sunday - if I still don't get on with it I'll cancel my membership.

That’s a mega pic.

I was going to head over Hartside this afternoon but the forecast over that way was shan so I headed over Helmsley instead because their forecast was better …

It mizzled all the way.

I fancy a change, want to change from a Triumph Street Twin 900 to either a Speed Twin 1200 or Kawasaki Z900RS. Going to look at 3 Speed Twins tomorrow and 2 Kawasakis on Sunday, hopefully might make my mind up after thinking about it for the last two months.

I'm planning on doing oil and filter changes, clutch adjustment, and general bolt checks etc. Probably should replace the spark plugs and front brake pads too but I'm due an MOT in a few weeks so I may do those bits just before that.

However, this weekend I may even give the thing a good wash and ACF50 layer too if I get the time!
