It's the weekend - who's doing bikey things?
Discussion
It's that time of the week again, who's doing bikey things?
I'm hoping to get out on the BSA this afternoon if the slipping clutch can be resolved in time. My brother's just got his 1927 Model 18 Norton going again with a new (recon) magneto, so the plan is we'll take those two out so I can have a go on that too. Not ridden that one before. Might try and call in and watch the planes at Lakenheath if the timings work out, which is always impressive!
If I have time I want to try and get the back wheel out of my Norton so I can start working out what I need to get the BSA conical hub to fit which is step one of its transformation.
Other than that, MotoGP in between a few beers and some nice food

We were due to have some bikes friends visit us, but they can’t make it, so my excuse for a ride out evaporated with that!
Still working on the 4 wheeled project at the moment, which is taking most of my time, but I’ll either finish it in glorious style or get so sick of it, I pull on a lid and go for a potter I suspect!
That said, two of the bikes are in storage elsewhere due to the back yard being full of project, so my options are limited….

Hope so, I had a great ride out last Sunday - bacon roll at Rykas and then a really cool scenic route back home through Sussex/Kent. Either be a longer ride out on the GS or a shorter blast on one of the noisy brothers Also, MotoGP is currently on in the background and I'll be watching and hoping MM93 delivers again in Mizano

That’s a mega pic.I was going to head over Hartside this afternoon but the forecast over that way was shan so I headed over Helmsley instead because their forecast was better …
It mizzled all the way.
I'm planning on doing oil and filter changes, clutch adjustment, and general bolt checks etc. Probably should replace the spark plugs and front brake pads too but I'm due an MOT in a few weeks so I may do those bits just before that.
However, this weekend I may even give the thing a good wash and ACF50 layer too if I get the time!
