OMG have decided to shake up their team for 2025 by announcing that Joe Talbot will be riding for them in 2025 & 2026
Who is he replacing? Hasn't been announced yet or are they expanding to a 3 rider team like Honda?
All to be decided but i'm willing to bet that if they go to a 2 rider team, it will be Ryde that keeps his seat.

Any other riders confirmed for 2025?

I would say OMG to run 3 bikes, Ryde and Talbot but the 3rd rider > not Vickers!

That's my gut feeling

Ryan Vickers is undoubtedly the hottest property right now in BSB.

Why is it Vickers and not Kyle Ryde? Purely down to Vickers potential?

If you are selling parts maybe. Running a team, not so much.

Ryan is an unbelievable talent similar to what Jake Dixon was in BSB. At Oulton this weekend I’ve never seen anyone go through the fearsome Dentons so fast.

DAO Racing are parring ways with Kawasaki for 2025, plans for next year to be announced soon.
Honda or Yamaha do we think?

He's not riding for OMG next year though.

I'm a bit surprised as he's undoubtedly fast and they have put the work in to get more out of him than previous teams. Similar to how they have brought on Ryde as well.

Yeah cause Dixon is doing well in worlds..
Said it before Ryan's quick but that's no good if you barely ever finish, and my god the bills he must be handing to omg..

Jake Dixon is doing well in Moto2 though.

5th in the standings and he's winning races recently.

Best of the British riders to try their hand at Moto 2 but maybe you might consider showing us all how it's done smile

Dixon's in his 6th (?) year in Moto 2, and has been on some of the best teams
You'd really expect him to be performing, no ?
The problem I see with Jake, is he is really fast on his day, but really not when it's not going his way
Would he be any good on a GP bike, who knows
He didn't exactly set the world alight on it at Silverstone a few year's back when he had a chance on the Yamaha, but whether he'd be good now is anyone's guess

Lowes had better potential, but liked a crash and couldn't string a season together

The key attribute, what wins championships, and no one's yet mentioned it, is consistency... it's no good winning the odd race if you don't fill in the gaps in between with high-points finishes. This year's championship points table (as displayed on tsl) tells a story.

And still does in Superbikes which is odd considering he is a former world champion but i guess Moto 2 is a different level.

Back on topic, seems like nobody is favouring the Kawasaki anymore bar FS-3 or whatever they are called.
DAO Racing have announced they are departing from using Kawasaki's, CDH have announced they are going to Honda's next year and i'm fairly sure there were hints on the broadcast from Oulton that Storm Stacey is likely to be moving on from GR Motorsport next year.

Which is weird because Alex Lowes is proving that in WSBK at least, the Kawasaki is still a force to be reckoned with but nobody seems to want to ride in the UK bar O'Halloran and Max Cook who are both doing great things with it

If that is true, that is a plumb ride for Vickers and hopefully he can gel with the bike and team quickly

World class rider goes to WSBK. It all makes sense to me.

If he can gel with the bike quickly and the team give him what he needs, he will ruffle a few feathers methinks.
