Feel the need to build a chop.
Lacking the money to buy a laverda to chop, it's going to have to have a jap engine.
I have seen two jap chops that I looked at and thought, "I want". One was a GSX11EF powered bike outside P&H motorcycles about 30 years ago,
the other was a jap single powered chop in the for sale section on this site, that might well be 10 years ago. I think the single was a blue DR650 engined bike, is there any way of finding such an old ad or the photos? I would like to see the photos to see why I liked it.
Or should I just forget buying a single and get an FJ1200 motor?

I *think* the main frame tube is slightly raked, to fit the long tele forks, for more trail and stability.
Or this look comes from the very squatted and almost rigid rear end.
