Bikesure unable to obtain a quote?

The insurance on my 70’s DT400 has lapsed, and Bikesure are unable to get anybody to quote for it.

It’s not as if my circumstances have changed or anything.

I was able to reinsure my dt175 as part of a two bike policy in the spring with bemoto.

I use Footman James for my old bikes. May be worth a try.

I’ve managed to insure it with Bemoto, they were the only company that came up on Go Compare!

From what I understand when my Tuono’s insurance came round for renewal, BeMoto phoned me to make me aware that Zurich had pulled out of underwriting bike insurance policies which has had a big effect on premiums.

After doing many other quotes via the comparison sites and coming back with similar quotations I ended up staying with BeMoto but my insurance has risen by almost £400 this year, which is more than double what I was paying for the last I don’t know how many years.
