Picked this up today, it's on a '19 plate.

6000 miles on the clock, and like new.

Sadly just 27 miles later.

Has it punched through?

What's the purpose of two front mudguards?

I went years without a puncture, I remember saying that one day at the start of the year at work. Five fking punctures this year later.... one on a new bike and a new car to me within days of getting out on them. I even managed to get a puncture on an already punctured tyre as I pulled into the garage to get it changed.

At least it's bang on in the middle.

If you’ve ridden a trail bike in the rain, you’ll appreciate it ! They spray water all over you with a high mudguard .

Keep the punctured tube to either repair/patch with a simple bike puncture repair kit or cut ir snd install it as a thicker tube protection.
And put some goop in the inner tube, works really well for stopping punctures leaking air following the initial penetration. ...

Do puncture repair kits actually work, what brand do you recommend? I've tried lots of different brands with the mountain bikes for years and years and always found them to be st. I end up just lobbing the inner tube for a new one on the MTB.

I've mended oodles of push bike punctures over the years and never had a failure. I just assumed they were completely foolproof!!

Definitely not foolproof. I manage to cock it up every time I try it. Living proof.

But the upper one isn't doing anything unless the lower one is removed, and even then it wouldn't be doing a lot.

Indian engineering , if one mudguard is good then 2 must be gooder .

Hmm... bit unfair. Even BMW do it. And even more uglier IMO.

I think it's improved,

but I can't speak to the "sticky tyres" element of your question. smile

Ooh I like it! Much cleaner looks.
Thanks.
Does it make any difference to the road spray?
