Silverstone MotoGP - Travel Advice
Discussion
Car or bike?
We did park and ride the other year and it took longer than expected to get the bus from the park and ride through the traffic into Silverstone, this year I am taking the bike which should be easier/faster and parking close to the circuit. Downside is having to take a complete change of clothes unless you want to sit in leathers/jeans and boots all day long.
Overall the circuit is not difficult to get to, from Surry then M25/M40 is probably easiest, then follow the signs from the motorway.
Arrive as early as you like, there are bikes on track from (from memory!!) about 8:30/9am. If you want a wander around the site as well, visit the stalls, the displays etc, then I would try and be on site by 9am.

I've never been and we have tickets for Sunday with seating, we're travelling up from Surrey.
Any travel advice for those who have been before?
Time to arrive, how long are queues, parking etc.
Get there early, like 6am early and you’ll get in relatively ok. Any travel advice for those who have been before?
