This is a long shot, does anybody know of AK02 LXR?

Massive long shot but AK02 LXR is a K1 GSX-R1000 is used to own and it seems it is back on the road.
Now this is somewhat surprising as I stripped it for parts, used the entire front end and rear end in a Bandit 1200 custom I built.
In a moment of bored I was putting old reg numbers of mine onto gov.uk and see this has been put back on the road, the last I saw of it was a bare frame I sold with the V5...

No harm in rebuilding a bike from a bare frame, I know of quite a few people who have done it; most commonly, it's been after a front-end wallop has deformed the headstock but everything from there backwards is fine.
Bike is written off by the insurer with the option to buy the remains for buttons, a used front end and frame off ebay is generally pretty inexpensive and then a winter garage-project sees a bike back on the road come springtime.
There are, of course, those who might use a 2nd hand frame to ring a stolen bike but these days there is more money in just stripping them for parts.
