Hello all,

Does anybody use a Bagtecs X50 or similar on a sportsbike? I'm looking for something that'll fit my K8 GSXR 750 for those longer trips.

Thank you in advance,

Menor

Thank you. Expensive, but it must be said very smart indeed.

US20 with US 10 on top. Looks a little precarious but it never moves, weighs very little and has no effect on handling of the bike

Kriega stuff is expensive, but they are quality pieces and will last you a lifetime.

I've used the Oxford bags like this: https://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/product/oxford...

I took a T70 to India and also have a T50 which is a bit more manageable. Excellent quality, very strong, guaranteed waterproof, very easy to secure to the bike with a strap that goes under the rear seat or rack, plus straps to the rear foot pegs or frame. The T70 went through baggage handling to/from India plus from Delhi to Himalayas and back with not even a scratch, really impressive the for cost.

I've had various Kriega kit, far too fussy, too small, the plastic bits break and render the bag useless, I wouldn't have any of their kit again.

I've also got a couple of Lomo bags, incredibly cheap, not quite the quality of the Oxford bags but perfectly adequate for the price. https://www.lomo.co.uk/product-category/motorcycle...

I used a SW-Motech Drybag 700 for 4 nights camping. Could fit quite a bit in there and it fits over the back seat. Was £140. Disadvantage is when it's empty you'd have to take it off the bike as it flops around, in official pics it looks like it would hold itself up. Do have to pack it carefully to balance the weight and stack things so that they dont stab you in the back. Did 1500 miles without falling off! Can also clip another drybag from the range on top for more luggage.

+1 for Kriega.

I may have a held Livigno kicking about. I since bought Kriega.

Hi Bob,

Did you need any additional straps to attach the US10 to the US30 or does it work with what comes as standard?

I’m looking for some soft luggage for my Speed Twin and this looks like a good solution.

Thanks.

The Rhinowalk Kriega knockoff stuff is very good. Been using it for a year or so quite happily.

I've been using weisse tailpack for years. The tank back only works on steel tanks though.

Everything comes with it. The Kriega packs are covered in stitched loops, so everything just connects with the regular straps. And the ones that attach to the frame are super easy to fit too.

Hi folks,
Apologies for jumping onto this thread,
Any suggestions for a bag to carry a laptop on the tail?

I use a kriega backpack at the moment but recently picked up an airbag vest which cannot be used with a backpack.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,

Rob
