So not willing to spend a fortune to just carry my sarnies to work, and not liking wearing a backpack, I looked for a cheap pannier solution.

I settled on a Decathlon waterproof jobbie for a bicycle and a pair of Tec Parts pannier rails.

£39 for the bag, and £49 for the rails.

I had to undo and reposition the plastic clip rail as in the original position, as seen by the silver crossheads in the pic, the pannier was too long and sat on the side of the exhaust.

The round puncture repairs shows where I first moved the plastic clip rail, only to find that the plastic pannier still sat on the exhaust.

OK, the cycle pannier is not expected to deal with anything more than maybe 20mph so I need to test it at a 80mph cruise.

I've added a jubilee clip to stop the clip moving forward and I may add another at the rear of the top tube of the rails.

Personally I like the look although in my head the green of the decathlon product matched my Triumph tank laugh

And in addition to making my Speed Twin an Urban Adventure bike, here's some pics of my screen by the Italian company Unit Garage.

Took me a while to find a screen that I liked smile

So watch this space for motorway cruising results biggrin
