Pedrosa v Lorenzo Boxing match

Apparently, Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo are stepping into a boxing ring this Thursday 20th June for a boxing match.
If you really want to watch it, DAZN are showing it apparently, as is Lorenzo's YouTube channel.

I'm not massively bothered but it would be amusing to hear Lorenzo's list of excuses if Pedrosa humbles him

In reality, the two midgets were normal sized but Eddie Hall is a big lad, think he is somwehere around 6ft 8 or so, so anyone under 6ft in height will look like a midget

He’s actually 6’2” which is short for a modern day strongman.

Jorge going to have a bit of a weight advantage there i would think, maybe 10kg on Dani ? Dani is tiny but he certainly isn't lacking in the balls department so i would expect it to be entertaining.

He'd still keep boxing with the other hand though.

Charity or they hate each other... I can't imagine Dani Pedrosa hating anyone, he came across as incredibly nice when I briefly met him years ago... as he does in interviews.

I think it started as a joke as both were doing a bit of boxing for fitness. Lorenzo called pedrosa out and it went from there
You'd hope that they were doing it for a charity, but who knows
It'll be interesting though as Pedrosa really is tiny

He certainly is... I'm 6'5"... So the height and weight difference was comedic.

Lorenzo is only 5ft7 so Pedrosa's 5ft2 isn't as massive a disadvantage as it would be to most of us.

I won't feel the need to watch it, but can imagine Dani being quite quick on his feet....and he's a small target to hit...

Yeah apparently they've become friends since they both retired from racing and are doing it as a laugh for charity.
