As the TT2024 thread was gaining content in relation to next year, as requested a new thread has been started.

Only 49 weeks to go with my ferry booked when the Steam Packet opened up the booking on the 20th May.

When do the ferry tickets go on sale? My o/h is jumping up and down about going, I don't want to book a room for the week and not get a ferry ticket.

We tried this year but it was a bloody nightmare to try get anything.

They go on sale at the start of the previous year's event, but you only pay a deposit at that time.

It’s a real Golden Era of TT Racing that I can’t see lasting indefinitely unless they attract some younger BSB riders. With the exception of Davey Todd (late 20’s) the top riders Dunlop, Harrison and Hickman are all in their mid 30’s.

It would be good to get riders in such as Danny Kent, Lee Jackson and Kyle Ryde.

Not done a TT for years after it just got too busy. Just do the MGP now, although not this year, as my dad lives there.

Never understood why the TT gets 60% more attendees, it is pretty much the same just slightly different bikes and no sidecars. Sure, I guess if you are all fanbois of the top riders it is great to see them ride, especially Dunlop(s), McGuiness etc.
