Rare bike, if you find one you may get a shock at the price .
Absolutely this. When a V5 by itself is being sold for £200, a whole bike is going to be silly money!

Casals were very rare. I only ever saw one, a scrambler.
Consider the vast number of FS1/Es and SS50s sold and even they are like hen's teeth now and the prices are just very silly, for a bit of underpowered nostalgia.
Might have better luck looking in Portugal where they were made.
Back in the 80's my brother had an SS50.Consider the vast number of FS1/Es and SS50s sold and even they are like hen's teeth now and the prices are just very silly, for a bit of underpowered nostalgia.

When he took it to the local bike shop to trade against an H100 they gave him a free pair of gloves for it.

I've got a 1976 fizzie languishing in a shed somewhere. I should probably think about doing something with it!Consider the vast number of FS1/Es and SS50s sold and even they are like hen's teeth now and the prices are just very silly, for a bit of underpowered nostalgia.

I have just been working with a colleague from Portugal who has been tasked to "ask around" Consider the vast number of FS1/Es and SS50s sold and even they are like hen's teeth now and the prices are just very silly, for a bit of underpowered nostalgia.

I was hoping the pricing hadn't hit the nostalgia bonus due to the lack of being popular but oof £4k will be way over budget.
I've got a Casal that I'm restoring now.
It's a 1977 SS4 in blue, my brother had it from new, when he was sixteen and used until he passed his car test. I had it 3 years later and rode it for about 18 months until 1982.
It then got put in my Father's garage and sat there until about 5 years ago when he passed away and ended up in my shed until I could get around to restoring it.
Parts are available but limited, I managed to find some engine parts in Spain and hoping I can just use the original stuff I've got to get it back on the road.
