fork protection
Discussion
Just spotted one of my fork seals is a little bit weepy, not surprise as the bike is old and gets used in all weathers.
just a general question, what do year round riders/ decent mileage commuters use these days to protect the forks? used to be fork gaiters back in the day and i just give them a spray with wd40 or whatever once a week through the winter if i remember
i was looking at an cb500x the other day and noticed the chrome was looking pretty knackered, maybe a quality thing or just never been sprayed with anything oily. anyway.... tell me what works for you!

I use neoprene sleeves like these https://www.24mx.co.uk/product/acerbis-neoprene-fo...
The bike doesn't have long travel MX suspension, so I cut one sleeve and used half on each leg. I check and clean underneath the sleeve before and after winter and not had any issues.
