Anyone watch yesterday ?

Good result for bridewell after a lackluster qualifying

Irwin must of expected more than he got

Kent constantly racking up those points

Great ride for max cook.

Was interesting to see HRC top brass in the paddock. Bridewell did look the strongest we've seen him this season. Expect he would have caught Ryde if it wasn't for the red flag.

Oncu coming from WSS for the weekend and absolutely smoking them was very impressive.

Many said at the end of last year that TB would only win 1 championship. I didn’t subscribe to this and he has clearly been a very shrewd signing for Honda as he’s a massive talent and unfairly underrated by many.

I’m not surprised to see Leon Haslam at the sharp end and top BMW.

Oncu is really showing his class in the Supersport and is very impressive.

Rob I'm not surprised that you're not surprised Leon is at the sharp end biggrin Particularly at Donington. I called Ryde to be quick (as he always goes well there too).

Bit early to tell if Bridewell is going to challenge for the championship again for me. He's got some competition this year from OMG, Glenn, Lean, Kent, Iddon. Looked like Glenn ran out tyre quite quickly, after looking quite good in the opening laps.

No surprise at Oncu doing so well, he might not be at Toprak’s level but he is world class.

TB will win another title but just not this year. Bike is too new, full spec engines are just too fragile right now apparently and a non scoring first round have left him with too much to do.

It’s going to be a hell of a year though

yes

That second feature race earlier was proper edge-of-the-seat stuff

Haven't watched it yet - long story - but certainly sounded like a hell of a race.
TB seem to be getting a handle on the Honda now so will be there or teherabouts come the end of the year but i still think Glenn Irwin will take the title this year.

Not so much a case of TB 'getting a handle', more a case of Honda getting new components into the engine to allow it to rev to its design potential, they've been reducing his rev ceiling in order to at least get him to the finish line.

I recorded the highlights last nigh and watched earlier.

The last race was real edge of the seat stuff, and it was great to see 5 different manufacturers in the top 5 so it should provide some thrilling racing!

An interesting note on Oncu was that his Gearlink bike was also right near the bottom on the speed traps (other than the Craner one) on the TSL PDF, so he must've been riding the wheels off it to be constantly at the sharp end. It just shows the level of the front end of WSS right now when he can do what he did on what's an underpowered bike compered to the Ducati's and Triumphs
