First ride this year. It’s ‘only’ a 35 year old 750 but my word. Came home, had a small sit down. WHAT a thing, no car comes even close!

Nice that I'd like an RVF.

95% of the time it’s fundamentally awkward, impractical, runs hot, heavy clutch, heavy to turn at low speed, etc, etc. But when, when the road is clear, and you wind it on hard from 4000 rpm upwards, the filthy airbox snarl, exhaust note, the sheer drive, the utter visceral-ness of it all.
I’ll have to have another sit down……!!!

Any more photos? Hard to see it in that one, but looks a beaut!

I had the 400 when I was 18 and loved it and a mate at work had an RC45 and he came to the Festival of 1000 Bikes with us years ago, it was a work of art.

Homologation specials was the best era of sports bikes IMHO.

I don't know if it was just me but the pics didn't show up on my iPad so I've edited the links above.

What a beauty! Rarely jealous of modern day sports bikes, but something like this... absolutely!

What're the forks?

It's a mean looking machine for sure, love it!

They’re standard RC30 forks.
