Hi hi so my wee story goes as follows

Got my first Enfield (350 Bullet) at 15 years of age, built up using some seriously dubious funding methods from my old dad with lots of false promise "course I'll pay you back da...." etc etc

Then went through about 7 Bullets from 350 original, 500 Electra, Cafe Racers, Bobbers, restored Clipper to name a few. Then money was a bit tighter despite growing up and earning more money! Probably grown up bills etc finding their way into my life.

My love of Enfields was deep in my DNA as my Grandad Joe was an Enfield or nothing type of lad. He passed away 4 years ago at 96 years of age (hope I have those genes) and since then been looking for an Enfield as a wee tribute to the old lad.

That is when this Bullet came into my life. High lift Cams, mega high compression, open pipe and electronic ignition. Runs like a gun!

Been tidying up and do not take any credit for the build other than polishing it up and tidying as much as I can wiring wise etc.

Any more pics I get I will share.

That wasn't quite what I expected clicking on the thread, I was almost wondering if you were in Delhi at the start. Fantastic! smile

Nice! I'm an Enfield fan from birth too, but the older stuff as my dad used to cart my brother and I around in his 1928 Model 180 and sidecar. This was the 1980s, I'm not that old hehe

I own that bike now and ride it a bit with my wife in the sidecar. She loves it, I find it absolutely knackering to ride!

Loving the cafe racer look too. I got a 1957 Norton Dominator last year and my plan is to slowly turn that into a cafe racer smile

That's a great looking bike that must be incredibly uncomfortable with those 'bars.

Very nice!

I've had a Bullet for about 20 years - they do get under your skin.

I actually prefer the feel of the 350 engine - more rev and less thump, but it takes all sorts...

Performance Classics (YouTube "Paul Henshaw") in Llanwrda has run a pretty quick 350 Bullet in classic racing. Might be worth making a note.

IIRC, Steve Linsdell's 500 was clocked at something like 140mph on Sulby Straight in the Classic TT a few years ago, so they aren't all slow old plodders. smile
