Any recommendations?

My Spidi suit has pulled apart slightly where the stretchy bit meets the leather, and I've lost a bit of stitching here and there.

Not sure how far you're willing to travel, or which side of Reading you are, but I've used these guys in the past for alterations or when I had the odd trackday dismount.

They're based in Farnborough, and, assuming they're still around, just down the road from the Yamaha dealership, (or former Motorcycle City if you go back that far).

Thanks both. I'm willing to travel (bought the leathers from Infinity in Farnborough as it happens).

This guy has done a few alterations for me on both leather and textile.

They're also used (or at least were when I last went) by Motolegends for alterations. When I was last there (Hill 4 Leather that is) he had a bunch of leathers we was busy replacing bits of and showed me some of the work. Quite amazing to see!

Jayne’s Sew and Sew in Newbury is good for bike leathers repairs. Me and trackday mates have had sleeve zip changes done a few times there for £25. She generally ask you to pull out the lining and the body armour in the area.

For more complicated repairs I’d use the other guys mentioned above.

A bit further but the Hideout repaired my leathers a couple of times after track day misadventures.

However you could be talked into a made to measure suit so could be an expensive visit!

Do any of these outfits offer a mail order service? Courier delivery could work out cheaper/less hassle.

Expect they do, but I'm happy to drive a reasonable distance.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Much appreciated.

Seconded - Hill 4 Leather repaired my RST leathers when the zip went on them, as well as some of the stitching after they had a bit of a close look at the Paddock Hill bend gravel trap at Brands. The repairs were (excuse the pun) seamless. Would definitely recommend. Plus it feels good to be spending money with some true craftsmen, rather than just binning otherwise good leathers and buying new.
