Anyone going to this? I'm booked on to the Hull showing with a mate, it looks to be quite an amusing one - best yet according to Chris Eades!

I enjoyed the last one and meeting the lads was great. Always nice to have a bit of bikeyness while the bikes stored for winter.

I thought about it but decided it looked a bit too silly really. YouTube version will probably suffice as it's basically three blokes on a stag do with bikes added.

I’m at the Newcastle one again. Looking forward to a night of lighthearted daftness with bikes.

London one for me. Really enjoyed it last year – being surrounded by people laughing in a cinema made it feel a lot funnier than when I rewatched it on YouTube. It was a nice atmosphere!

I'm going to the Bath one on my own.

Can't convince any biker mates to come!

Going to bournemouth on weds with my brother, noticed its one of the ones with the most tickets left, not surprising as our biking scene down here is rubbish really - mainly as we don't have much in the way of decent roads!

Ticket price is pretty steep but if it helps one of the few decent bike related channels/companies then all good by me!

I'm pretty sure BVG mentioned the channel wouldn't have been viable without the cinema revenue from last year.
I'm happy to pay it anyway.

Well thanks to all those that attend. If it was in my hometown I would support the event as you can’t help but like BVG.

Went to London last night. I’ve never laughed so much in a cinema, was a good evening.

I won't be going but I think it's a much better idea than the usual youtube model of 'pay me to see my vids earlier'.

Apparently they're also going to do a non-Youtube version to pay for as well.

As noted it's sponsoring the channel really, in previous years they've really struggled for revenue which has limited their content, they can now work to more interesting items.

I'm the same I would go but I'm not doing a 4 hour round trip to the nearest screen, not their fault they wouldnt sell out a screen where I am.

I quite like him, but BVG is a polarising character with many, I don't watch the BVG channel anymore but do enjoy him on 44T

I really enjoyed the evening in London yesterday. Unfortunately couldn't stay for the post show Q&A, which was the best bit at the Guildford one last year. I've followed BvG since early A3 commute stuff because I was doing similar at the time. It's been interesting, and very entertaining, watching the content and methods of involvement evolve. I suspect a fair few other successful bike, or other, YouTubers are keenly watching this alternative monetisation. Fair play 44Teeth for giving it a go. I appreciate it's been a few years in the making, but to go from Chris moaning about filtering in Roehampton to that incredible video of Al and Boothy testing superbikes on the TT course is some achievement.

All that said, I'd think twice before taking your girlfriend (or wife etc) to the current cinema showing. I didn't think twice, or once come to that. You probably should. smile

I'm off to the Birmingham one on Friday. Enjoyed last years one and didn't think twice about booking to go again, I know it's expensive but if it supports them then I'm happy to pay it.
