I bought a 790 last month after the deals were posted on here. I was after a RC390 as i loved riding my Mrs one but the 790 seemed like the better bike to get for the money. All was well, the new bike itch was scratched. But whilst perusing auto trader the other weekend at 3 am I saw my local dealer doing a deal on a new RC390GP with £1300 off list. So here it is, I picked it up today. Cheered me up a bit having seen my Gran pass away yesterday morning, hence the st smile.

My o/h is now banging on about getting a dark visor on hers, might as well put his and hers on the fking things. I've selected the Quickshifter, I was going to get an ackro can but they wanted more than the one I paid for my Mrs Christmas, so I'll wait and see what that sounds like. Wasn't blown away with the colour scheme in the photos but it's awesome in the flesh. Oh and this one is orange, not fking grey at least.

Looks mega, congrats! I really want one of these too, there's something about the small light bikes and riding them flat out. Alas no space in the garage for another bike unfortunately. Please update with how it rides once you had a chance to give it a good thrashing! Oh and please post a warning in the future... 'Post may contain garage envy' biglaugh

Sorry to hear about your Gran.
Nice new bike.
My mate picked up a 790 from Shirlaws two weeks ago. Looks a great bike and he got a good deal on it.
So many offers on now. Definitely the right time of the year to buy a bike.
Luckily I didn't go down with him or would have needed a bigger van 😂

Nice, I would love one of those for trackdays, there was a lady riding one at Pembrey this year and she was flying around the corners on that thing.

Excellent.

No idea what they are like but I love riding and, equally, like a biker getting to enjoy a new machine.

Ride safe and enjoy.

Cracking looking bike. These have passed me by as sportsbikes aren't really my think but always had a soft spot for the RC8 and you can clearly see the lineage.

Sorry to hear about your Gran Alex.

Another KTM in the Family, congratulations on your new arrival.

We'll have to do that St Mary's loch meet this year as it didn't happen last year or was it the year before.

OK, we'll make it happen, have a run up from Hawick, Peebles, Moffatt etc if you fancy that.

This is what I like about the new ZX-4RR, yes it's expensive and not much lighter than the 600, but it would be great to rev the nuts off.

I originally wanted one of these when they announced them, but after trying my Mrs I loved it. You just sit at 10,000 revs everywhere. Pinning it all the time but not going anywhere particularly quick, but it's lots of fun. It's like riding a Renault Twingo 133, you wouldn't want it as your only bike, but fking fun for kicking about. And it only cost me £4,499, that's credit card money, so I stuck it on my interest free one.
