Want to get back into some trials riding, haven’t done it for about10 years. We have land at home to ride on.

Was looking at older Honda TLR 200’’s which look quite good but also seen the 2014 Montesa 4rt which you can get a seat for, has anyone got any views or other suggestions please?

Ideally looking to spend £1500-£2500

Thanks

I run a Beta Evo 300 4T which i really do like. Very different power delivery to my 300 2T but suits my age and capabilities nicely. Not sure I'll ever go back to a 2T trials bike now thb.

As for a seat, Beta supply a long range tank/seat unit intended to make the bike more trail friendly.
If you're doing proper trials, I'd be wary as it really restricts the amount you can lean the bike over between your legs making some tighter sections impossible. But if you're just messing around, not too much of an issue. But, don't think the seat is anything other than cramped with tight knee angles etc and not a place of comfort...

And honestly, at your budget point, you'll be getting something likely to need more work than is reasonable and an economic black hole
