Last week I traded my SuperDuke for a V4 MultiStrada Pikes Peak. It's a cracking bike, but I'm got no confidence in the tyres in this cold\wet weather.
It's currently running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV (120/70ZR17 and 190/55ZR17). They've done 500 miles and are scrubbed, but everything feels very vague.

I'm considering taking them off and keeping them for the summer , and getting a pair of Michelin Road 6.

Any opinions? Am I being a pussy?

MCN put Dunlop Mutants on theirs and rated them highly, I have the OEM Pirelli Scorpion’s which seem to be holding up OK on my V4S Multi.

My test ride was on the V4S multi that had the OEM Pirelli Scorpion’s, I thought they were excellent, I think the Pikes Peak tyre's are more sporty and summer focused, so not as good in the current UK conditions.

Michelin Road 6 or Metzler Roadtec 01.

If you still have an issue its the bike / you.

You've answered your own question pal. Nothing wrong with sport touring tyres especially on a sports tourer

I've had a pair or Michelin Road 6s fitted this afternoon. Really happy with the tyre's but not happy about he fresh chip down to the metal on my rear wheel.
