Quite like the look of the GSX1000 adv thing you've posted, might get another bike next year and it'll be on the list.

I knew about the ADV suzuki thing but hadn't seen a pic yet. Looks better than a Versys1000 by a mile, and will easily undercut it price-wise. Those engines are fantastic. Is a great competitor to the BMW S1000XR, just needs a decent size tank!

That 8R looks very tidy too, post tail-tidy fitted obvs smile

Moto Guzzi V85 Strada for those with zero off-road pretensions.

they look fabulous - but why oh why can MotoGuzzi just about get away without a st rear number plate holder, and the bikes above can't.

That Suzuki is a absolute joke. Talk about silly rules !

Every time I buy a new bike now, I won't take delivery until they've sorted that - which means some main dealers I can't buy from, as they are not allowed.

Big independents are good

The DUKE 990 was on the possible list, but KTM seem to be on a roll in producing ugly bikes, first the 890 SMT and now this. Sorry unless it looks way, way better in the metal/flesh I'm out, in fact the 2024 MT 09 SP is looking better by the minute.
It can't just be me can it? I've not been let down by a KTM in the past but holy st what a minger.

it's almost so ugly it's pretty?

In that picture, I don't think the orange stripe on the floor is helping, as it's squaring off the lines of the bike.

That said, I bet from the front it looks like the preying mantis as usual!

Don't mind them - but I couldn't bring myself to buy one yet!!

The front is even worse than the praying mantis of before...KTM have employed a mole from one of the big 4 Japs and he's doing a job on them!

I'm most excited by the new CBR600-RR.

Here in Australia we continued to get the CBR600RR. The current model is incredibly rare. It came out in 2020 and after a year Honda hiked the price of it by around 60% ($AUD15,699 to $25,999). It's now $27,599. Which is 10% more than a GSXR1000.

I'm a Suzuki fan and both of those look good to me with the notable exception of the rear number plate hanger on the GSX-8R.

It always looked odd since the introduction of the model imho.
It does not look too bad in action when you don't see the lines.

The GSX-S1000GX looks interesting, but about £2k overpriced if MCN's £14.5k price is correct. The GT isn't selling like hotcakes and this model is going to dilute sales more. Could be a good buy next autumn. smile

Agreed, very generic. Change the badges to a letter of the Chinese alphabet and I wouldn't bat an eye.

I'm not sure I could name a pretty KTM

At best they're "functional" but they've been making ugly bikes for quite some time
