If they tell you to pull over, just make sure you do so safely and don't pull over opposite a junction, or vehicle entrance or exit point.

Remember to do lots of life savers and make sure you move your head so the tester can see you looking.

Yep my examiner tried this trick with me as we were passing a school with a load of double yellows and school zone markings and loads of driveways and junctions. Sneaky. biggrin

Had similar on a wide open bend. That was a minor.

Also don’t leave your indicator on for first 200 yards wink

Don’t pull onto a road without checking the speed limit, this might end up with you riding along thinking st st st is it a 40 or 50 then getting told very quickly you’re breaking the speed limit banghead

Don’t let your front wheel slip on a roundabout manhole cover in the rain.

Don't get pissed the night before!
Drink lots of high caffeine coffee with a full English at least an hour before the test.

Enjoy, & purchase the most powerful bike you can afford when you pass.

Good luck!

If it's wet do not forget the 4 second rule. They really don't like it if you don't keep your correct distance.

Enjoy the ride back when you pass, it's lovely.

Hopefully, mine was awful! It was 4° and pissing with rain, by the time I got back I was about the coldest I've ever been...

Give parked cars plenty of space when passing. Failed my first MOD2 for not leaving a big enough gap in case someone flung a door open. I still maintain there was ample space but alas, I was not the candidate not the examiner!

Thanks everyone for the comments.

The test has been cancelled due to standing water. (The weather is horrendous to be fair, it's never stopped raining for a week, pools/flooding everywhere.

My MOD 1 was cancelled twice, my first MOD2 was cancelled...now this has been cancelled. Is someone upstairs trying to tell me something?!

I tried to get mine done in the summer. Past 8 weeks ago. It was the only time I’d ridden in the rain. And it was raining! Pinlock was a godsend.

Sorry to hear about the cancellation. I hope this doesn't put you off as riding a motorcycle really is a past time worth the effort.
