Hoping someone can point me in the right direction (after Amazon has let me down badly!)

I am searching for a large fold out paper map of Europe for Journey planning purposes. I would like to wall mount said map and tick off the best Euro Adventures for next year. Is there a go to map supplier for this?

Cheers

Michelin Maps website is very good too:

https://www.viamichelin.co.uk/

Under 'Options' you can specify shortest, fastest, or economic, an excellent feature most others don't have. Most either take you down very narrow lanes to save 100yds on shortest, or 10 miles further to save 2 minutes on fastest. frown

I printed off the directions to Spain and back about 15 years ago and it was excellent. Nowadays, I expect you wouldn't need something as old-fashioned as paper en route, smile but I like a big paper map sometimes too, you can see more.

For paper, Michelin, but for planning, I'd suggest MyRouteApp is the best option. You can define the use of specific roads and download to your sat nav/phone. It's really good for sharing routes if you are riding with friends.

All these apps are fine recommendations but you can’t really pin them on the wall.

OP: something like this should be enough, available in places like Waterstones if you don’t want to use Amazon. Pretty up to date too.

Perfect gents, thank you all.

I plumped for a 3d Map from a german company which will allow for basic route planning. I have an opportunity to knock out all the major Passes in the area next year, so wanted to mark them all off on one large map, then form a list. I can then transfer to a route planner for the actual road guidance. To close for missles, switching to guns as they say! Link below for the interested. Thanks again, Myles

I have most of the major Alps and Pyrenees passes defined in MyRouteApp. If you'd like a copy of those then please let me know.
