Viper helmets?

I ordered a viper rs v171 on the strength of wanting a flip style helmet but with the bluetooth being built in, as my previous helmet the aftermarket bluetooth speakers irritated my ears by not being sunk in enough. reviews online made this look decent quality but it arrived with one earpiece not working, and the build quality feels no better than my £30 g-mac, seems pretty naff for 170 quid. feels chinesium. especiallty the quality of the wiring. its not the earpiece, swapped left and right and the fault remains at the left.
Started a return but the seller is offering an rs v191 for no extra money. does anyone have a 191, is it any better? Ebay seller has been spot on, cant fault his customer service, just disappointed at the build quality. first time in my life spending more than 50 quid on the helmet so not sure if I am being too picky.
Tempted to just get a refund and get a better brand flip helmet, try to find one with bigger ear recesses and use my existing £15 chinese bluetooth which works well.
Anyone any real world experience with viper helmets?

I have a full face one. Rsv 95 I think. Flashy red and black. Cost £110 with a dark visor. Fully up to date safety rating.
Bit noisy but happy for the money

Also recently bought a MT flip front. Just to try one. £100 (paid 80!)
Very happy with it. Quiet and seems nicely made.
May well invest in a more expensive flip front next year
