It should be a good weekends racing with the title race being so close, plus there is also the various Paul Bird tributes.

I’m only going on the Sunday in what will be the last motorcycle racing event of the season for me.

I’m hoping TB wins the title this year but either way, i just want to see them win it for Birdy. Would be nice to see his kids go for a tenth title as a sort of legacy but you can’t blame them if they win it this year and walk away.

I’ve wanted TB to win the title for years and this looks like his best chance. However a fourth in the opening race and a win for Glen has really narrowed his championship lead. Lee Jackson who often sits slightly under the radar was 2nd yesterday that was an excellent result.

That was a costly mistake by Bridewell yesterday.

What is it something like 7 points between 1st and 2nd in the title standings now ?

I don't see what the complaints are about. You can't just put the hammer down then slam on the brakes on restart.

Was he? He went too early and had to slam the anchors on, everyone behind him was expecting to keep going at that point. His own fault really...

No he wasn’t.

He went too early then stood on the brakes. It was a mistake to go that early but ultimately it was his decision and the rest of the pack almost suffered.

Hes not allowed to pass the safety car so he had no choice, maybe the safety car was too slow

No he’s a professional rider who knows the rules. Going then braking hard is dangerous, simple as that which is why you can’t do it.

He went too early which was a mistake that nearly caused a big crash and he was penalised.

I’m a fan of Tommy’s but that penalty was the right decision.

Was also great to see little Betsy giving out the trophies too and it seemed to make my living room a little dusty somehow.
Ill never forget the little bugger torturing the life out of me for being bald the first time I met her, much to Chrissy and Karen’s enjoyment.

Buggered up the safety car restart and got back on the brakes with riders having to avoid crashing into him.

Really hope this isn’t Tommy bottling it. 2 mistakes in 2 races isn’t like him.
Let’s hope he gets his head down in race 3 like he did at Cadwell.

I really hope he's not made the situation worse by displaying how he felt quite so obviously!

Yeah I said to my wife I wouldn’t be surprised if he hadn’t just made it worse.

As long as Tommy keeps his head, he will still win the championship.
