And it feels good! Although it didn't sink in to start with! I must have been really nervous, was shaking more afterwards than before!
Not perfect, couple of things he pointed out...but passed.
Did 55kph for the emergency stop and 52kph for the swerve/avoidance.
The 30 minute ride back to the instructors place was soooooooo nice after that, more relaxed. I definitely have the bug!
it feels good to finally get it. My first two MOD 1 appointments were cancelled by DVSA due to lack of examiner.
Booking MOD 2 as soon s possible but nothing soon due to severe lack of examiners / slots in the North East.
Will keep trying.

Congrats, Mod1 is the difficult bit to start with, just remember to keep practicing those low-speed skills as they often come in handy!
Practice in an empty car park doing U-turns, low speed stuff etc, as when you really need it turning up at a bike cafe everyone's watching and it really comes in handy.

Well done. That's the hardest part. Treat the Mod 2 like a lesson. Just remember your observations, road positioning and ask your instructor about the "angled start" if they've not gone through that already. I was told they never come up on test so loads of instructors forget or don't bother teaching it. Of course, I got one.
I was bricking it for my Mod 2 and I've no idea why. If I think about it, I'm still nervous now and I passed over a month ago. It really is a doddle.

Congrats OP
Now onto Mod 2. Just remember; ride for yourself, exaggerate your mirror checks, go with the flow of traffic (don't dawdle or chug along) and make decisions that YOU see fit. It's about showing safety rather than a blanket ability to follow instructions.
Good luck! Passing MOD 2 is the best feeling

Except everyone else at the biker cafe will have duck-peddled their bikes for any manoeuvring required
