Has anyone been/watched the WSM Beach race?
This year I’m going to be coming past there on the Saturday so wouldn’t mind taking a look but can only spare a couple of hours. At £25 for a day ticket for me and the wife, I don’t really want to be spending £50 for just a couple of hours.
Is there anywhere where you can get a peek (at a distance) for free, or is it all pretty much blocked off from all directions?
Thanks

You won’t get anywhere near it unless you hire a helicopter and a pair of binoculars

I've raced it twice. It's quite a lot or organisation, like 4 days really! So I agree, to get to watch it as a passing punter will be pot luck, really, but you can see bits of it.
Quite a spectacle, and bloody hard work to ride!

I can imagine, my daughters ex-boyfriend rode it and he said the sand gets EVERYWHERE and also pretty much ruined a new engine in 24 hours!
