SW300 trip - any recommendations?

Good morning BB,
Doing the south west 300 this weekend with the old man. Looking for recommendations for places to eat mostly.
We're going anti-clockwise so suggestions for where to stop for breakfast on the west coast are most welcome.
Lunch probably will be while going along the south coast.
Dinner will be in dumfries.
Then lunch on the second day will be inland on the elvanfoot - dalmellington stretch most likely.
Also would love to hear any other general advice for takling the route. We won't be stopping much it's more for the ride!

The scenery and roads were much better than I anticipated them being we'll definitely do it again.
Took a bit of a different route on the second day to incorporate the road from Carronbridge to Elvanfoot and it was the highlight of the trip. Exceptional riding road.
