Thruxton RS - modifications
Discussion
A post looking for some ideas please.
I would very much appreciate the views of current or past owners of this particular Triumph, regarding recommended upgrades - be they cosmetic, comfort or performance - which I might add to my wishlist.
I am excited to say that I have a very low mileage (220m), 18 month old one arriving on Tuesday - I think it has had the tail tidy and LED light mods, but that is about all.
Many thanks for any advice.

Of course, a gratuitous pic from the seller:

Seal the wheels and get rid of the tubes, far safer.
I used the 3M extreme sealing tape but there are other methods just as effective.
Everything else is down to your personal preference, first two things I did was go one tooth up at the front as I found the gearing too low and got rid of the excessive play in the ride by wire throttle which annoyed me.
Cosmetically you're off to a great start with the tail tidy and led indicators, comfort wise you already have the higher clip ons so not much else to do apart from persuading your local council to fill all the potholes.
Mines an R but same things apply.
Gratuitous pic of my TTR with slightly more miles, 23k.
Quite a different look to your RS, much more polishing

looks great, hopefully we have a few months of decent weather left to enjoy it.
Is this your first twin?
It is indeed, apart from a CB250N Super Dream back in the day. Last three were all BMs - R9t, 1600 Bagger and S1000RR, all owned at the same time about three years ago. Some learning to do, I imagine. Is this your first twin?
