This will be my first visit to the Moto this Sunday. However I have a question I would like to ask anyone who actually knows.
I have booked a carpark ticket online which is approx 20 minutes walk from the track.
I also have to pick up my tickets from the accreditation center.
Does anyone know if this center is located near the main entrance or carpark? Should I park first and try and locate the center, or drive to the center and find the car park after? Does this make sense to anyone who has experience at the track. Thank you

Last year it wasn't far from the main entrance, walking distance from what visitors said. Many of the foreign rounds it's several KM from the circuit entrance though, so it's not unknown. I'll try and find out where it is this year, the wing move may have changed things.

Are you arriving by car or bike?
If you’ve booked bike parking it will be in front of the circuit/ museum in one of the hard standing car parks. If it’s car parking it’ll likely be in one of the fields behind Luffield or Copse ( which might explain the 10 to 20 minute walk)
Tickets can usually be collected or printed at the Customer Contact centre which is located next to the main entrance by the museum.

Do you need to book bike parking or just turn up?

Hi, I already have a map of were the center is, I am going by car. The two are a distance apart from what I gather. That's why I asked if anyone had acualy done this and which is easier.
My tickets will be at the accreditation center and not a booking office.i have been trying all morning to find a phone number so I can ask silverstone the question. But like every thing else it's on line only rolleyes

Ok, Just physically seen where the accreditation centre is. It's a portacabin located in a corner of what is normally used as a coach park. You'll have to park up first and then go the the Accreditation Centre or you'll be blocking the access road.
If you're arriving by car you'll either be directed into the car parks behind Luffield and past the portacabin by turning off the Dadford Road ( if arriving from the West) or if arriving from the East be directed off the A43 onto the A413 and up Winterhills in Silverstone Village to arrive at pretty much the same car park. They're also preparing other fields behind Copse for car parking so you might well be directed there. Hence the mention of a 20 minute walk....
Don't wear your best shoes. Its been chucking it down over the past couple of days.

Muddy field parking could be a major issue - hopefully a fleet of tractors will not be required this year to pull out all the cars....
