The Times said:
It’s always tragic when you lose a biker brother to civvy street, but the pain is especially piercing when they defect to the e-scooter brigade. And so it is, apparently, for the Prince of Wales, a once notable motorcycle enthusiast who earned the ineffable respect of me and my biker cronies when it was reported, in 2011, that he rode his beloved Ducati across London on the night before his wedding. I like to think that he was taking that baby out for one last truly intimate spin. And that they parked next to the Serpentine in Hyde Park, just as the sun was setting, and he sat with his feet dangling into the water and threw his arm around the Ducati’s red petrol tank and whispered, voice gagging with emotion, “I’m sorry, honey, but a lot of things are going to change for you and me after tomorrow.”

Flash forward 12 years and those changes are seemingly complete, because William has allegedly gone full wally by opting for an e-scooter as a means of travelling around the royal estate at Windsor. A source close to William revealed, “It just makes sense. He whizzes up to the castle when he needs to see the King.” Because, obviously, no one has ever whizzed anywhere on a motorbike before? Perish the thought.

We will miss him down at the Roadhouse. It was his turn for the armed truck raid this week, so Bubba wont be happy.

Well if he's just using it on his estate then I'll give him a pass. Not nearly as tragic as when Prince Harry's RS6 Avant was put up for sale, that signified the beginning of the end for me.

Neatly forgetting that escooters are brilliant fun, and on an estate like that you could have a derestricted one too

Why *wouldn’t* you use a quick e-scooter for getting round an estate like that. It seems like an ideal choice.
