Anyone recommend an insurer for two bikes on one policy, one with minor changes and one with a list as long as your arm?

I've felt the pain in the past of contacting brokers who can only deal with a tail tidy and an end can swap as long as it's e-marked, and could do without spending a whole day going through my details over and over again!

Cheers.

I should add, google throws up Bennetts, Carole Nash and BeMoto - none of which I've insured with before and I want to avoid the ones who seem to attract the horror stories so wondered how those guys fare (and if any others are slam-dunk go-to's).

Finding a company that will undewrite modifications is fairly easy, those already mentioned will happily do so. The problems normally start the second year where they send a renewal through for a standard bike so you then have to go through all the faffing around you did the previous year.

The other one to watch out for is 'The modifications are reflected in the premium' line of bullst which is when they don't list any of the modifications on the schedule but load the premium as if they had. Two of the brokers previously mentioned on this thread have tried that one before so I won't do business with them again.

Bennetts are ok to an extent; I’ve got several lightly modified bikes on a policy with them at the moment, though I had to remove the MC and rearsets from my 750 to make it ‘insurable’….which is a minor p**stake IMO, though at least they were upfront about it.

I’ll give Bemoto a positive shout out.. I have 3 bikes on one policy. They’re always easy to deal with and making changes mid policy is straight forward.

Adrian Flux have proved to be an excellent at covering my lightly modded h2 and S1000R.

Bemoto where great last year but with the pipe on the H2, Adrian Flux where considerably less expensive.

I tried bemoto for my highly modified S2r and even more modified 748 on a multi bike policy, they ended up quoting separate policies, so zero ncd on one and a stupid amount for the pair (so much for a multi bike policy)

Ended up with bikesure...

I ended up with bikesure, and only later found out that they’re Adrian Flux by another name.

But not that cheap - i basically ran out of time in my working day to call round loads.

However the customer service was night and day compared to my previous insurer, who I cancelled straight after taking cover out. Don’t suppose I can name them but what a shower of unhelpful automatons, parroting out a script at high speed and doing Computer Says No.

First ride out done. The modifications have started. Happy days.
