1961 series 2 Li 125 here.
“Slightly” modified to 186cc.
She rides like a 62 year old scooter but that’s the charm of Lammys.
Needs constant fettling to keep her going but they’re quite simple things if you have a slight idea of how engines work etc.
She’s a keeper.

Got my dads 1957 150D, His dad brought it for him new in Italy in 57.
Got J50 as that is what my grandad had in Italy and was the first scooter rode, so when one came up in the UK a few years ago i snapped one up, not the best Lammy ever made TBH
And got Series 2 TV175 which i brought in boxes of bits from Sam at Lambretta finder in Belgium
Talking of which if you want a project take a look at Sam, he does regular trips nearly every month to the UK with Labrettat's that need restoring.

I've got a Li125 Series 3, 1963, sat in my garage. It was my Nan's, she bought it new for going down the shops. My dad sort of restored it years ago but must admit now he's passed away I've not used it for years but can't bring myself to sell it. It is complete with a huge screen and tartan shopping bags (not now on it) but is painfully slow and the brakes scared the crap out of me last time I used it
