Motorcycle delivery firms

Years ago I used a motorcycle delivery service that did multiple collections and deliveries, they were pretty cheap. The only condition was that it could take quite a few weeks to turn up.

Does this sort of service still exists?

Yes - just waiting for a delivery actually - prices have gone up over the last few years and it can be a week or 2 to wait but I ‘ve always had a good experience and it is a lot less hassle than hiring a van / taking a day off work / driving all day etc etc - they will charge more for bigger bikes as they take up more space and harder to shift about I suppose

yes I used one last year and the banged my bike, pushing the indicator stalk out and a slight crack in the "ear" by the headlight. numerous calls etc but they just said go get a replacement and bill us....prob is, you cant get a replacement....then they disappeared....still online so.....cant name and shame but they had a GB in their title!

Used this firm recently via my breakdown service when my battery failed.
Small sample size I know but the guy was great and the transporter was very safe and secure, and I'm very fussy about my bikes.

A friend of mine started a full time business doing this and mobile tyre changes. Very good prices and service. He gets a lot of repeat business and referrals now
