| am looking for somewhere to try some gentle off road riding if possible in central Scotland, nothing too technical, gentle trails to start, (Tiger900), not sure how to find out where to go and indeed if its allowed in Scotland.

When I did RTV/CCVT trialling we used to have outings to Drumclog. I think they allow motorcycles (although I don't think they allowed them on days where Land Rovers etc were cutting about). That's somewhere I would look.

And as there is no legal green lanes in Scotland I think an offroad centre like that is your only legal options. There is another one called Glen Tarkie but I dont think they allow motorcycles.
